What’s a conceptual framework and why do I need one?

If you’re starting out as a researcher in Medical Education you might have been told that you need to have a well-developed and coherent conceptual framework. Great feedback! But how do you go about this? And why bother? Georges Bordage from Chicago explains this very clearly in his 2009 paper in Medical Education. He also explains why you need to stay up-to-date with theoretical perspectives over time – things change! We found his case examples really clear. He also explains why and how you can combine perspectives. We hope you will too. Take 30 minutes to follow-up and read his paper.
