Lets have what they are having

When commencing the revision of a training program, you may find yourself looking to the literature. What is current best practice? Is it applicable to your needs?

One of the challenges in medical education is the lack of information publicly available to inform practical decisions regarding curriculum development and implementation. This is described in an article published in Medical Teacher, by Dario Cecilio-Fernandes & John Sandars. A suggestion, made by the authors, to assist curriculum planners when adopting evidence based medical education, is for studies to also report on: local context; resources required; process for development; factors that enable/constrain implementation.

How would your development process change if that level of information was available?
